Internship - Credit Management Officer

YOUR ROLE
Under the supervision of your internship supervisor, you will actively participate in monitoring the performance of customer debt collection in the Maritime Transport sector, with the constant aim of accelerating cash receipts. You will also contribute to optimising the management of the credit customer portfolio, ensuring that appropriate credit terms are granted.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
- Monitoring collection performance:
- Analysing performance indicators related to the collection of customer receivables.
- Identifying delays and bottlenecks in the collection process at regional offices.
- Proposing corrective actions to speed up the collection of receivables.
- Credit customer portfolio management:
- Contribute to the analysis of customer creditworthiness to determine their eligibility for credit terms.
- Participate in the development of credit limits and conditions tailored to each customer.
- Monitor at-risk customers and propose actions to limit potential financial losses.
- Process improvement:
- Propose solutions to optimise collection tools and processes.
- Participate in the implementation of dashboards to monitor customer portfolio performance.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
- You are preparing a four-year degree (gap year at a leading business school) or a five-year degree (ideally an end-of-studies internship in MSc Finance) in the field of Finance, Management, Accounting, or Commerce.
- You have a keen interest in financial risk management, debt collection, and customer relationship management.
- You are comfortable with IT tools, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and management software.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
- You are rigorous, organised and have good analytical skills.
- Your interpersonal and writing skills are recognised.
