Internship - Data Analyst

YOUR ROLE

As part of our digital transformation, the Group Purchasing Department is strengthening its skills in data management and utilisation. We are looking for a Data Analyst intern to support our teams in improving data quality and developing high value-added management tools.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

1. Improving and ensuring the reliability of purchasing data

•  Checking, cleaning and enriching data (suppliers, contracts, categories, purchases, etc.).
• Implement and monitor management rules to harmonise data at Group level.
• Participate in projects to complete and structure reference systems.
• Contribute to providing reliable data for internal users.

2. Analysis and reporting

• Perform ad hoc numerical analyses for purchasing teams (spend analysis, segmentation, etc.).
• Design, update and optimise dashboards for buyers and management (Qlick Sense/Excel).
• Participate in the automation of existing reports to improve team efficiency.

3. Contribution to digital transformation projects

• Contribute to cross-functional projects: deployment of SRM, contract management tools, document digitisation, etc.
• Ensure proper data integration into new purchasing tools.
• Collaborate with IT, Data and Purchasing teams to improve processes and data flows.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

• You are currently enrolled in a Master's 1 or 2 programme at a business or engineering school, specialising in data analysis, business intelligence or statistics, with a genuine interest in data and tools. 
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken (international exchanges).
• You have good data handling skills: advanced Excel, Power BI (or equivalent), knowledge of SQL is appreciated.
• An understanding of the purchasing world is a plus.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and are comfortable communicating with all types of people in English or French.  
• Your rigour, dynamism, team spirit and appetite for digital environments will enable you to easily adapt to this supportive team.
