YOUR ROLE
Integrated into the Research & Innovation Department, you participate in further understanding and exploration of our datasets that are collected from data from ships of our fleet. The job will be an excellent first step for becoming a maritime data expert.
As part of CMA CGM’s R&D department and specifically Smartship Project, you will contribute in the conducting an analytic data dictionary from various data sources. That means that you should have a physical understanding of each variable in our dataset, and you should be able to explain it, by showing information from the manual of the sensor that the data are coming from, and you should be giving some examples from the data obtained. Over the examples the distributions of the data will be studied and any issues with data quality will be discussed. Over the examined data, some of the best data will be selected for bringing actions that lead to energy efficiency improvement over our fleet.
