Internship - Detention & Demurrage Tender Officer

YOUR ROLE

 

As part of the Global Sales Department and the Detention & Demurrage (D&D) business at head office, you will be involved in defining and developing tender contracts for our strategic key accounts across all sectors at group level.
Assignment of a customer base to respond to tenders. Providing after-sales service following the award of contracts and throughout the contract period.

 

Role of the Special Desk Sales: responding to key account tenders relating to D&D (detention and demurrage) in conjunction with KAMs.
Three people at head office and a team in India.

 


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

As Detention & Demurrage Officer, you are responsible for:

 

  • Defining Detention & Demurrage offers (tariff conditions for the storage of CMA CGM equipment outside or inside terminals by the customer: https://www.cma-cgm.fr/ebusiness/tarifs/demurrage-detention) to be included in responses to Global Account tenders, in conjunction with Key Account Managers (KAMs),
  • Maintaining these contractual terms for invoicing and updating GA contracts.

 


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • You are currently enrolled in a Master's 1 or 2 programme in logistics, transport or commerce.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • You are proficient in Office and Excel in particular.
  • You are comfortable in interpersonal relationships, have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to express yourself freely with all types of people.
  • Your rigour and dynamism will enable you to easily adapt to this supportive team.
