Internship - Digitalisation and Maritime Data Analyst

YOUR ROLE
You will be responsible for improving the ship plan review tool and the document management system (Mariapps). To do this, you will:
- Define the needs in collaboration with Experts and Project Managers.
- Translate those needs into a Functional Specification Document with the application team.
- Create a project plan (phases, schedule, resources).
- Carry out configuration, testing, and validation.
- Provide training and support to users.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
- Contribute to optimizing and cleaning the feedback and APC (Analysis of Past Cases) database.
- Implement automation of certain processes.
- Perform statistical analyses and correlate anomalies in the data.
- Highlight key data using KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You have a higher education degree (Bachelor’s to Master’s level) in data science, statistics, computer science, econometrics, maritime engineering, or equivalent.
- A first experience in data analysis or in the maritime sector would be a plus.
- You show a strong interest in data and the maritime industry.
- You are proficient with analysis tools such as Excel, VBA, SQL, Python/R, Power BI or Tableau.
- You have a good understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics.
- You are capable of asking the right questions, checking data quality, and proposing improvement actions.
- You demonstrate sensitivity to data quality and its operational context.
- You are a good communicator and comfortable presenting technical results to non-experts.
- You can work independently while knowing when to ask for help.
- You have a good command of English (oral exchanges with English-speaking stakeholders).
