Internship - Financial Controller TANGRAM M/F

The goal is to bring together international experts and key players from the transport and logistics sectors to co-create tomorrow's new rules of the game.

A new site in Pointe Rouge, Marseille, operating since February 2024, serves as a hub for CMA CGM Group employees, startups, large corporations, universities and research centers.

YOUR ROLE  

Reporting to the TANGRAM Finance Department, you will take part in the management and coordination with the accounting firm supporting all of TANGRAM's site activities.

Based on the TANGRAM site, you will work alongside management control and contribute to overseeing the site's financial operations.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? 

Accounting Support:

• Monitoring purchase requests in Yooz
• Reconciling intercompany accounts
• Checking bank reconciliations
• Following up on entries from the accounting firm

Contract & Supplier Management Support:

• Responding to supplier emails
• Supplier account circularization (1 to 2 times a year, as needed)

Budget Planning Support:

• Contributing to the development, management and monitoring of budgets for general services, communication, events and other business functions

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

• Identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement to optimize the efficiency and quality of the financial department
• Contributing to this by implementing reporting tools and performance indicators for the site
• Rolling out procedures

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? 

• Gap-year student (M1/M2) in Finance/Accounting
• You have a strong sense of service quality, client/supplier relationship management and results orientation. Able to create and improve operational management processes, you demonstrate leadership that is both supportive and demanding
• You have good knowledge of accounting tools, particularly Cegid Loop and Yooz
• You are diplomatic and know how to interact with a variety of professional backgrounds
• You are rigorous in your management approach and capable of innovating to improve the quality of the user experience
• You demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting processes
• You have knowledge of budget management
• Professional English, written and spoken (in person and by phone), would be a plus
