Internship - Financial Markets

YOUR ROLE 

 

As part of the Finance Department within the Financial Markets team, you will be involved in matters related to market finance. 

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? 

 

  • Within the Finance Department and in conjunction with the Treasury and Financing teams, the Financial Markets team manages the interest rate, foreign exchange and energy risks associated with CMA CGM's activities. The team proposes investment solutions to the Group's Executive Committee and the Finance Department. The team is also responsible for Commercial Paper (NeuCP) issues. 
  • In this context, you will carry out daily analysis of the various markets impacting the group (commodities, foreign exchange, interest rates) and participate in hedging deals.
  • In addition, you will contribute to the drafting of market notes or summaries for the Finance Department or the Chairman.
  • Finally, you will collaborate on the development of IT automation tools within the department. 

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? 

 

  • Currently a student in a five-year degree programme, you are preparing for a degree (university, business school or engineering school) with a specialisation in Finance or Management. 
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.  
  • You know how to program and are proficient in basic IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • You have a keen interest in market finance.
  • You have good analytical skills and are able to work independently.
  • You are serious and rigorous. You enjoy working in a team.
