Internship - International Tax Officer

YOUR ROLE
Explore International Taxation! Join the Tax Department of the CMA CGM Group, where you will work at the heart of a dynamic team specializing in the taxation of maritime, air, and land transport companies worldwide. You will also address issues related to real estate, financial, and port terminal taxation.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
- Worldwide taxation of maritime, air, and land transport companies
Conduct research on the operational activities of transport companies around the world
Assist with international tax audits
Analyze applicable local taxation
- Real estate, financial, and port terminal taxation
Review tax documentation related to the financing of CMA CGM Group assets
Draft tax memos and handle technical research
- Tax monitoring
Track tax news and participate in the implementation of legislative and/or jurisprudential developments
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
We are looking for a motivated and talented candidate who meets the following criteria:
- Education and Experience
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Master 2) with a specialization in taxation or ideally enrolled in a law school, with strong knowledge of international taxation
Previous experience (internship) in an international company or a firm specializing in corporate taxation
- Technical Skills
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Strong skills in working with numerical data (Excel, analytical tools)
- Personal Qualities
Curiosity and interest in tax systems applicable around the world
Rigorous and organized, ensuring the reliability of collected information
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, along with excellent writing abilities
Proactive mindset and ability to understand operational challenges
Team spirit and excellent communication skills
