Internship - Junior Purchaser Ports & Terminals

YOUR ROLE : 

 

Infrastructure Buyer, Ports & Terminals Procurement Department, responsible for negotiating and purchasing port and handling services. Purchasing is organised by regional offices, and the intern will be part of the team responsible for Africa & the Indian Ocean. 

 


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

Specifically: 

 

•    Implementation of contract monitoring tools
•    Reporting 
•    Preparation for negotiations

•    Monitoring of suppliers' operational performance according to contractual terms and reporting of deviations

 


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • You are currently enrolled in a Master's degree programme in Purchasing, Logistics or International Trade, ideally with some initial experience in the field.
     
  • You are fluent in English and French, both written and spoken. 

 

  • You are proficient in office software (Office suite, clickSense, etc.).
     
  • Thanks to your writing, analytical and summarising skills, you are able to write analytical reports related to business issues.
     
  • You are rigorous and use your curiosity and agility to benefit the team and clients. Your team spirit and openness to other cultures will contribute to a good working atmosphere and the search for solutions adapted to the context. 

 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
