Internship - Junior Real Estate Project Manager (M/F)

YOUR ROLE  

 

Within the Group Real Estate Department, the intern actively contributes to the definition and implementation of strategic real estate projects in France and internationally. They support the teams in managing office fit-out projects, optimizing the real estate portfolio, and developing innovative real estate management tools.

 

This experience offers a comprehensive view of the real estate challenges faced by a large international group, at the crossroads of real estate, construction, finance, operations, and digital technologies.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? 

 

1. Support for office fit-out and transformation projects

Under the supervision of the real estate project managers, the intern will participate in:

  • Defining the needs of users and stakeholders
  • Preparing and following up on office fit-out projects in France and internationally
  • Coordinating the various project phases: programming, design, execution, and handover
  • Monitoring schedules and deadlines
  • Attending project meetings and drafting meeting minutes
  • Tracking project progress and identifying potential risks

 

2. Partner management and coordination

The intern will contribute to coordinating the various stakeholders involved:

  • Project management teams (architects, engineering firms, project management assistants – AMO).
  • Construction companies
  • Inspection bodies and control organizations
  • Technical service providers and suppliers
  • Internal Group departments (Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, Security, Facility Management, etc.)

 

3. Reporting and budget management

The intern will be involved in:

  • Monitoring capital expenditure and operating budgets
  • Updating project dashboards
  • Consolidating financial data
  • Preparing progress reports for senior management
  • Preparing presentation materials to support decision-making

 

4. Support for strategic real estate initiatives

The intern will take part in studies and analyses to help guide the Group's real estate decisions:

  • Analysis of the real estate portfolio
  • Comparative studies and benchmarking
  • Analysis of relocation or consolidation scenarios
  • Assessment of operational, financial, and environmental impacts
  • Preparation of recommendations for management

 

5. Innovation and digitalization of the real estate function

In collaboration with the Group's IT and AI teams, the intern will contribute to:

  • Defining the functional requirements of a real estate portfolio management tool
  • Formalizing real estate business processes
  • Design and testing phases of the solutions developed
  • Improving the quality and structuring of real estate data
  • Integrating digital technologies and artificial intelligence into real estate processes

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? 

 

  • You are a final-year student or on a gap year at an engineering school specializing in Civil Engineering, Construction, Building, HVAC, Energy, or Project Strategy and Management, or at a school of architecture
  • You have a good understanding of real estate and construction projects, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), awareness of financial and budgetary issues, and an interest in information systems, data, and artificial intelligence
  • You are fluent in professional-level English
  • You are proactive and able to bring forward ideas and suggestions
