Internship - Legal Officer

YOUR ROLE
You join the Regulatory team within the Bunkering & Energy Transition Department, responsible for safety, security and environmental regulations applicable to the Group’s vessels.
You work closely with several departments across the Group, including the QSSE Division (Quality, Safety, Security, Environment) and CMA Ships (ship construction, maintenance, crewing, etc.).
You contribute to cross-functional projects in a dynamic and international environment.
You support regulatory monitoring and compliance efforts for the fleet.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
You identify legal requirements and SSE standards applicable to the Group’s vessels (international regulations such as IMO, ILO, local laws, flag states, classification societies, etc.).
You analyze applicable regulations and maintain up-to-date SSE regulatory summaries.
You help define compliance actions in collaboration with the team.
You maintain procedures, methods and tools related to regulatory compliance.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree specialized in maritime law.
You are proficient in office tools (Excel, Word), and ideally Digidoc.
You have knowledge of transport law and maritime law.
You have a fluent level of English, used for reading, writing and oral exchanges with international stakeholders.
Proficiency in another language is a plus (e.g., Chinese).
You are autonomous, well-organized, and demonstrate strong analytical and synthesis skills.
