YOUR ROLE

Within GEN Transformation, the Commercial Transformation team contributes to the development and support of commercial products that enhance the maritime transport solutions offered to customers. The Product Lab focuses on identifying, designing and bringing to market new commercial offers, sales approaches and value-added solutions. Its scope covers the CMA CGM+ range, transversal commercial and Customer Care solutions, commercial partnerships, and any initiative aimed at enriching the service portfolio.

As our VAS and commercial product pipeline continues to grow, we are looking for an intern to help us turn business opportunities and ideas into concrete, scalable solutions.

You will work on highly transversal projects at the intersection of business, product, data and IT, from initial opportunity assessment and business framing to POCs, digital solutions and go-to-market preparation.

The objective is simple: help the team accelerate high-impact initiatives and turn them into tangible business outcomes.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

Accelerate the Product Lab’s strategic initiatives by qualifying, structuring, and launching high-impact commercial products and VAS solutions - from opportunity assessment to executive reporting.

Develop data, digital & productivity solutions

One of the key part of the internship will be to identify how data, digital tools and automation can improve the way VAS are managed, sold and delivered.

Depending on priorities, you may contribute to projects such as:

  • Designing internal dashboards and BI tools to monitor VAS qualification, adoption and commercial performance
  • Developing customer-facing performance or self-service dashboards
  • Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and reporting activities
  • Building analyses, prototypes or Proofs of Concept (POCs) to rapidly test new ideas
  • Exploring innovative digital approaches to improve product promotion, sales, monitoring and delivery
  • Turning data into actionable insights and recommendations for the business

The objective will not only be to analyze existing processes, but also to propose and test better ways of working.

Bridge Business, IT & Data

You will also play an important role in helping transform business needs into actionable digital initiatives.

  • Work with business teams to understand operational pain points and user needs
  • Translate those needs into clear business requirements, use cases and priorities
  • Prepare and structure projects upstream to enable efficient development by IT and Data teams
  • Coordinate with Product Lab, business stakeholders, IT, Data and external development teams
  • Support testing, user feedback and implementation follow-up
  • Help ensure that digital solutions deliver both internal productivity gains and tangible customer value

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
