Project Controller intern - Global technical portfolio
CMA Terminals is a port operator used to develop, design, build, own and operate terminals and dry docks. CMA Terminals welcomes CMA CGM lines but also invites all shipping companies to develop terminals and offer a top quality service.
YOUR ROLE
Within the CMATH Technical Department, you will join a worldwide portfolio of strategic investment projects covering terminal expansion, equipment renewal, infrastructure development, decarbonization, electrification and digital transformation. Working directly with the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), you will design and deploy a standardized Project Portfolio Dashboard and reporting framework covering all projects within the CMATH Technical portfolio, interacting with project managers, engineering teams, finance and business stakeholders across multiple countries.
As part of your studies, you are looking for a transversal internship in Project Portfolio Management (PPM), duration to be confirmed.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Reporting framework: You will design and implement a standardized monthly project portfolio reporting process, and support the preparation and execution of monthly Executive Portfolio Reviews.

KPI definition: You will define and structure portfolio KPIs and performance indicators in collaboration with the Technical Department, and build a comprehensive Project KPI Catalogue.

Data consolidation: You will consolidate project information from multiple sources, countries and project teams, ensuring the consistency, reliability and quality of project data.

Dashboard development: You will develop and maintain an interactive Executive Portfolio Dashboard using Power BI.

Automation: You will automate data collection, consolidation and reporting processes wherever relevant.

Performance monitoring: You will monitor and analyze project performance across cost/budget, schedule, milestones, risks and opportunities, procurement and key deliverables.

Continuous improvement: You will identify gaps and opportunities to improve project reporting and governance, and support the Technical Department in developing a common PPM methodology and reporting standards.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education: Final-year Master's student from an Engineering School, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business Analytics, Engineering Management or a related field.

Technical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and good proficiency in Power BI (data modelling and dashboard development). Knowledge of Power Query and/or Power Automate would be a strong advantage.

Languages: Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage.

Personal qualities: Autonomous, proactive, well-organized and structured, you are able to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, can synthesize complex information into clear management insights, and are comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
