Talent Development Manager - Assets & Operations (M/F)

THE ROLE

As Senior Talent Development Manager for CMA CGM Assets & Operations , you will lead and coordinate the execution of talent and performance development initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment between global frameworks and local business priorities.

This role requires a senior HR professional able to orchestrate multiple stakeholders (Business Leaders, HRBPs, Talent, Learning, and TA teams) to drive a consistent development philosophy, strengthen succession pipelines, and foster a high-performance culture. You will act as a trusted partner to leaders, ensuring impactful development programs that enhance engagement, capability building, and long-term organizational success.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO ?

Talent & Succession

  • Lead people reviews, potential identification, and succession planning processes across the Assets & Operations organization.
  • Conduct career interviews with high potentials and successors, aligning individual aspirations with business needs.
  • Facilitate and drive talent committees with HR and business leaders to define and execute talent priorities.
  • Promote internal mobility and close critical skill gaps to build future-ready talent pools.

Development Programs & Leadership Growth

  • Oversee fast-track and structured development programs, including rotational assignments and Individual Development Plans.
  • Coordinate leadership programs ensuring the right talent is nominated and development outcomes deliver measurable business impact.
  • Partner with Learning and Talent teams to tailor solutions to local needs.

Performance Management & Governance

  • Drive performance management processes, supporting managers with evaluations, improvement plans, and recognition practices.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of people processes and tools across the organization.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide data-driven insights to leadership on talent effectiveness.

Assessment & Early Careers

  • Partner on assessment centers (design, participant selection, development follow-up).
  • Oversee graduate hiring and development programs in alignment with global standards.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key advisor to business leaders and HRBPs on talent and people development strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional actors to ensure smooth execution and adoption of talent initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, development, and accountability.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

  • 10–15+ years of HR experience in large, global organizations (HR Generalist, Talent, or Leadership Development roles).
  • Proven experience driving succession planning, performance management, and development processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience coordinating multiple HR actors and complex programs.
  • Strategic mindset combined with operational execution.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and cross-cultural skills; English mandatory.
  • Master’s degree required.
  • Coaching and assessment certifications (SHL, Hogan, Thomas, etc.) are a plus.
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition or Early Careers is an advantage but not mandatory.
