YOUR ROLE :

 

 

Within the Alliance & Partnership Department, you will contribute to the contractual and financial oversight of liner partnerships established between ocean vessel carriers. Acting as the first line of defense, you will help safeguard the group’s commercial and financial interests.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

 

 

  • Support the Alliance & Partnership Specialist and Manager in the administration of various partnership agreements, ensuring their correct application and anticipating potential financial and operational impacts.
  • Monitor and control allocations (including overloading and space imbalance) and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Act as first level of defense in schedule disruptions (e.g. port omissions), contribute to apportionment of responsibilities and prepare/follow up claims and compensation with partners.
  • Track the financial status of contracts (invoicing, disputes, collections, partners’ disbursements, cash flow forecasts) and ensure accurate, timely follow-up.
  • Produce statistical analyses and reports related to contracts, interpret data, and develop management tools to support activity monitoring and decision-making.
  • Conduct ongoing contractual monitoring, ensuring consistency between contractual commitments and operational execution.
  • Advise internal departments on contract interpretation and implementation, disseminate key information, coordinate with support functions, and drive corrective or optimization actions to ensure effective day-to-day follow-up.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

 

Postgraduate degree (4–5 years) in Finance, Economics, Business Control, or a related field, or graduation from a Business School.

Initial experience in Business Control or Audit (internship, apprenticeship, or first position) is an asset.

Fluency in English, comfortable with digital IT tools and MS Office tools, particularly Excel functions.

Strong interpersonal skills, rigor, and reliability, with the ability to work closely with multiple internal stakeholders as well as external agents and other shipping lines.

A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction and influence across the organization.
