VAS Sales Manager / South Europe

THE ROLE
As CMA CGM+ Sales Manager (VAS) South Europe, you will lead Value Added Services sales in Southern Europe, set regional and countries strategies, support the sales network, and drive client engagement. At the same time, you will coordinate group-wide VAS commercial initiatives, harmonize sales practices, and monitor consolidated performance.
The position is based in Marseille.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
Within the CMA CGM+ Sales Team (CMA CGM+ portfolio), you will be in charge of:
Regional Focus – South Europe
- Define and implement commercial strategy per country, aligned with group priorities and country market specificities.
- Animate and support local sales networks: share product and HO strategy awareness, ensure performance monitoring, and support issue resolution.
- Track and analyze performance metrics, set targets, and provide monthly updates.
- Meet with clients and agents to refine strategy and support sales efforts.
- Train and mentor CMA CGM+ Champions and local sales teams.
- Collaborate with Product Managers by providing feedback on existing & new product, as well as market intelligence
Group Commercial Animation
- Harmonize network animation practices and performance tracking using Group CRM.
- Launch and manage group-wide commercial initiatives and share best practices.
- Consolidate performance data, generate alerts, and provide strategic insights.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
- 5–10 years of experience in sales management, business development, & client engagement.
- Strong analytical mindset with command of CRM and performance tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
- Strategic, autonomous, and solution-oriented, with a collaborative mindset.
- Knowledge of shipping/logistics and agency sales operations is a plus.
