About the Program

For over 20 years, the ANL & CMA CGM Graduate and Co-Op Program has launched the careers of talented graduates across the Oceania region. Our program offers a unique mix of real-world experience, mentoring, and development, helping you build both the technical and professional skills to thrive in a fast-paced global industry.

During the 12-month program, you’ll:

• Rotate across key business areas to build broad, hands-on experience.
• Access world-class learning resources and career development programs.
• Participate in networking and mentoring opportunities.
• Be supported by a dedicated program coordinator and an encouraging team environment.

For the right candidate, this program can be the start of a global career, opening doors to exciting opportunities across logistics, supply chain, operations, sales, and beyond.

Available Roles

Operations Graduate

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Gain practical exposure across liner operations, container logistics and related operational functions through structured rotations.
• Monitor and analyse container flows, equipment imbalances, depot performance, vessel and operational data, supporting effective equipment utilisation.
• Assist with operational reporting, charter activities, marine information and other projects while working with internal teams, agencies and external service providers.

Sales Graduate

Reporting to the National Sales Director Australia, the key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Develop commercial knowledge through rotations while providing analytical, administrative and operational support across Sales activities.
• Manage and analyse customer accounts, sales performance and market opportunities, including forecasting, CRM data, competitor activity and value-added services.
• Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders, supporting sales planning, client engagement and commercial improvement projects.

Customer Care Graduate

Reporting to the Customer Care Director, you will gain exposure to and contribute across all Customer Care teams, including:

• Gain broad exposure across Customer Care functions, including import/export service delivery, bookings, disputes, invoicing and customer experience through structured rotations.
• Support customers with shipment enquiries, documentation, bookings and issue resolution, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Analyse customer issues, resolve operational discrepancies and contribute to service improvement, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives.
   

Line Commercial Graduate

Reporting to the Head of Line Commercial Desk, the key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Develop an understanding of Line Management and trade-lane performance through structured rotations and cross-functional exposure.
• Support demurrage and detention administration, pricing, commercial analysis and reporting across ANL trade lanes.
• Assist with Project Cargo, Tender Management and ad-hoc commercial projects, including reporting, sales support and process improvement.

About you

You hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
You’re an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating in a team environment.
You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.
You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and adapt quickly to new systems and tools.
You’re highly organized and self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Eligibility: You must have full working rights to live and work in Australia for the entire program duration. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship and remote work from overseas are not available.
