About the Role: 

 

Reporting to: Dispute and FAI Assistant Manager

As a Disputes Officer you will monitor and resolve customer and invoicing disputes by supporting the global shared service centre with requests for information, managing escalations, analysing root causes, driving process improvements, and providing backup to the Freight Audit and Invoicing team.

 

The role and responsibilities will include:

 

  • Monitoring and resolving customer and invoicing disputes in line with agreed processes and timeframes
  • Supporting the global shared service centre with information and guidance, particularly for complex or exceptional cases
  • Acting as an escalation point for internal teams and customers to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Analysing dispute trends and root causes and recommending process improvements to reduce recurring issues
  • Providing backup support to the Freight Audit and Invoicing team, including pre‑ and post‑invoicing checks and related audits

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a service delivery or customer relationship role, ideally within a complex or high‑volume environment
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and advanced Microsoft Excel capability
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer issues or disputes and working effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive, customer‑focused mindset
  • A positive, solutions‑oriented approach, with the ability to identify root causes and suggest practical process improvements

 

To be eligible for this role, you must have full working rights in Australia for the entire duration of the contract.
