About the Role:
Reporting to: Sales Support Manager
Employment Type: Fixed term, full time (until November 2026)
Work Location: Melbourne, VIC
As a Sales Support Representative you will support the achievement of sales targets by delivering proactive, high-quality sales support services to ANL & CMA CGM customers nationwide. It will partner closely with Sales and internal teams to manage rates, opportunities, and customer requirements effectively.
The role and responsibilities will include:
- Assist sales executives with admin tasks, rate negotiations, quotes, CDVA and reports
- File and maintain freight rates in systems to avoid “No Valid Rate” issues and delays
- Promote and support CMA CGM digital tools and value-added/non-maritime services
- Coordinate with internal teams and handle customer enquiries/escalations efficiently
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in shipping, freight forwarding or logistics, ideally in sales or customer service
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/sales tools, plus strong organisation and time-management skills
- Commercial mindset with analytical and problem-solving ability, able to work both independently and in a team
To be eligible for this role, you must have full work rights for the entire duration of the contract.
