About the Role:
Reporting to: Sales Support and Digital Sales Manager
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
Work Location: South Wharf, Melbourne
As the Sales Support Supervisor, you will lead, coach, and support a team of Sales Support Representatives while also managing an assigned sales support portfolio. You will act as the first point of escalation for operational issues and drive workload management, service quality, and continuous improvement across the team.
The role and responsibilities will include:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Sales Support Representatives to achieve service, quality, and performance objectives.
- Manage an assigned sales support portfolio, providing timely and effective support to customers and the Outside Sales team.
- Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues, customer complaints, and dispute resolution matters.
- Monitor team workloads, allocate resources effectively, and ensure compliance with established processes and service standards.
- Drive operational excellence through accurate rate validation, data quality management, process improvement initiatives, and performance monitoring.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or a customer-focused commercial environment.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and support a team while managing operational responsibilities.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills, particularly in relation to data accuracy, rate validation, and dispute resolution.
Eligibility Requirements
- To be eligible to apply, you must have been in your current role for at least 12 months and please discuss your application with your manager before applying.
