Key Account Manager

Responsbile for:
 
Commercial Direction.
  • Co-constructing market strategies along with Team Management and the Commercial Managers in territory under Miami Regional Office Scope to sustain and increase Volumes and Market Share.
  • Driving commercial activities meeting CMA CGM Network to meet strategic customers’ budgets and performances.
  • Preparing and managing commercial budgets of all accounts in assigned countries under CMA CGM Miami Regional Office.
  • Gathering information from countries and Preparing executive reports for top-management for revision and decision-making.
  • Work with Agency Sales staff to ensure that the national sales standards of performance are met by sales team
Territory Management (NOVA) Adoption.
  • Ensuring n CCOs, Commercial managers and Key Account Managers meet NOVA adoption targets and volume budgets.
  • Monitoring NOVA adoption and KPI performance of Commercial teams in LATAM.
  • Directing the implementation of new releases of the tool.  
 
Network Animation.
  • Steering and inspiring territory commercial network to grow and increase loyalty of key customers.
  • Directing strategic discussions with Head-Office line management to provide tools and resources to anticipate and maximize sales opportunities in LATAM.
  • Communicating worldwide actions, giving clear visibility about regional performance and objectives, celebrating local wins and coaching low performer countries.  
  Customer Activity
  • Develop and maintain customers & trade-lane specific business plans to achieve or exceed weekly production quotas.
  • Ensure push & pull sales follow-up occurs after each customer sales calls detailing the results of your sales coverage.  At a minimum, each sales call should generate at least one follow-up email or correspondence.
  • Prepare & complete required weekly management reports which include but are not Communicate results of meetings to upper management.  Topics for this meeting should relate to weekly Budgets vs. Actual, business plan reviews, competitive developments, new and lost business
 
3.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of industry experience, preferably 4 years carrier outside sales experience.
