Role Summary:

 

  • This role involves sending weekly forecasts to rail operators. Key tasks include coordinating with port offices, managing vendor agreements, responding to queries, following up on payments, and updating master data files for import/export containers.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Preparing various report pertaining to Intermodal moves on Daily / Weekly and Monthly basis.
  • Sending forecast to Rail Operators on Weekly basis.
  • Preparation of various Agreements as per the service provided by the vendor. Follow up on regular basis for the same.
  • Reply to various queries received from Vendors / GBS Team
  • Co-ordinate with the Port office for moving the import boxes to various ICDs within free period.
  • Follow up for outstanding Bills payments with the vendors and GBS Team.
  • Update Master Data File on daily basis for Import Containers Gated out on Pan India basis.
  • Collection of Import Ground Rent from the vendors.
  • Follow up for with the vendors for ground rent till the issue is sorted out.
  • Update Master Data File on monthly basis for Import/ Export boxes Gated in /out on Pan India basis by CONCOR/Rail operators

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Assigned job scope to be completed within mandated deadlines with accuracy.
  • To ensure that the follow up is done on regular basis.
  • Various reports to be prepared on weekly/monthly basis within the deadline given.
  • If any query, message should be sent immediately. Nothing to be taken verbally.

 

Qualifications and Skill Sets:

  • Holds a graduate degree.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proactive / Self-motivated/ Hardworking
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Well verse with MS Office Tools – specially Excel and Power Presentation
