YOUR ROLE

 

Part of the CMA CGM India Agency Commercial Team based in Mumbai, and reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be working to  drive Digital sales in India as primary function. While ensuring the accurate updating, monitoring, and analysis of the India commercial digital  performance for CMA CGM, you will enable the growth strategy of the Agency.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

  • Reporting to the CCO, the Market & Product Management Specialist is responsible for accurately updating, monitoring and analysing India digital sales commercial performance for CMA CGM

 

  • Drive SpotOn platform adoption across India Agencies and sales team. Monitor and analyze SpotOn KPIs (bookings, active users, conversion, repeat customers).

 

  • Coordinate implementation and scaling of the Seareward loyalty program in India

 

  • Using the knowledge of assigned area, he/she also provide sales performance analysis per client and per segment. In doing this, he/she will send his/her recommendations and action requests to the sales managers and / or area manager, and he/she is responsible for following up on sales actions.

 

  • He/she supervises the correct implementation, effective utilisation and strict adherence of sales and marketing tools & processes in the zone & branches.

 

  • Conduct training sessions / refreshers for Sales and Customer Service teams on digital tools

 

  • Contribute in local Marketing & communication initiatives in coordination with Marketing Manager-Pan India

 

  • Preparation of Presentations for Business Development activities along with Spot studies / Add hoc reporting for Stakeholders.

 

  • Work closely with Marketing manager to ensure implementation of HO Corporate tools as well as work on improving local reporting tools/systems/reports.

 

Key performance standards

  • Provides accurate flow of information, analysis & actions required to ensure commercial management has all the relevant info at hand to devise commercial strategy on Digital sales

 

  • All other Reports as per Timelines set by Management

 

  • Ensure that Sales KPI / Usage of corporate tools are achieved for respective zones

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the National Service Code, only candidates aged 18 to 28 and European nationals are eligible for this mission offered as a VIE.

 

  • You have a postgraduate degree (5/6 years) in commercial/business development role and ideally have a previous experience in Marketing, Sales or Business Development.

 

  • You speak English fluently, have strong skills in Microsoft application (especially Advance Excel and PowerPoint) and you can help facilitate easy to use dashboards.

 

  • Your rigor and sense of details enable you to provide error free analysis and reports.

 

  • You also have very good presentation skills.

 

  • A first experience or strong interest for the Shipping industry would be an asset., as well as Programming knowledge.

 

  • You are proactive, good team player and will be working closely with different departments in the zone and the agency. Good communication and interpersonal skills will also allow you to fully succeed in this mission.
