Position Summary
Prepare yourself to embark on a career journey with a leading global shipping and logistics group. CMA CGM is offering a Co-Op opportunity in Finance for students seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international business environment.
This Co-Op provides the opportunity to get involved, collaborate with finance professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain exposure to the financial operations that support a global organization. The selected candidate will support the Finance team with reporting, analysis, reconciliations, and day-to-day financial processes while learning more about the shipping and logistics industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student who is analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in developing practical experience in corporate finance, accounting, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Finance team with day-to-day financial and accounting activities
Assist with financial reporting, data analysis, and preparation of summaries
Help with account reconciliations, invoice tracking, and expense review
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Compile and organize financial data for internal reporting and decision-making
Partner with cross-functional teams to support finance-related requests and process improvement initiatives
Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited university undergraduate or graduate program
Must be available to work 20–40 hours per week from September through December
Must have a strong interest in Finance, Accounting, or related business functions
Must have a viable interest in potential future employment with CMA CGM or one of its affiliates
Must be eligible to meet all CMA CGM pre-employment qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

At CMA CGM, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The expected salary range for this position is $20 per hour. The actual salary offered will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
