YOUR ROLE  :

Under the responsibility of the Africa Regional Office, you will be in charge of all the activities of the maritime agency CMA CGM MAURITANIA.

Beyond the daily management of the Agency, you will develop the commercial, logistic, financial and operational activities of the organization. You will also create added value to the Commercial Agencies Network Department regarding development prospects.

WHAT ARE GOING TO DO?

You manage and organize the various departments of the agency, on both sales and financial matters and ensure the quality of customer service.

As a leader you ensure unity and development of the agency by standardizing the control activities. As such, you guarantee the whole budget, KPI and performance of the agency. You set all the objectives to achieve in line with the strategy determined by headquarter.

You ensure the implementation of reporting tools for various stakeholders of the Agency (Board of Directors, Head Office) while maintaining and developing frequent and regular relationships with the headquarters. You ensure proper application of procedures and rules of the Group (administrative, financial, operational procedures, etc...) as well as the proper use of computer systems.

In the context of organizational transformation and of developing activities of CMA CGM, you are a driving force and must be proactive in the implementation of these changes. You are a true manager; you enliven all the teams and ensure the development of employee skills.

Finally, you are the main contact person of global accounts, main providers and local authorities and you know how to detect new development opportunities. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Post graduated level diploma (+ 5 years) in Business Management, Commercial or Logistics, you have 10 years of professional experience in Shipping either in Head Office or in an Agency. You have developed a professional network in the maritime sector, allowing you to be legitimate internally and externally with partners and customers.

Extensive operational experience/back ground will be of added advantage to succeed in this position.

Your interpersonal skills and your sense of negotiation will be essential for effective communication. Your autonomy, your ability to persuade, your proactivity and your leadership are major assets to carry out the missions of this position.

You are fluent in French & English, and you are computer literate.

Organized, you are autonomous with strong entrepreneurial skills. Your interpersonal and communication skills make you a person with a strong team spirit and you preserve the best interests of the Group.

You have a first successful experience in an international environment. Knowledge of the region would be a real asset.

You are ready to evolve in a demanding foreign environment. You have a strong ability to adapt.
