YOUR ROLE
Execute and track daily land transport and intermodal operations. Ensure seamless execution on the ground and timely delivery of cargo by coordinating directly with carriers, port terminals, and customer service teams.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Daily Transport Execution
- Receive daily dispatch instructions and assign trucks/carriers to scheduled missions.
- Generate, issue, and transmit standard transport orders (OT) according to established guidelines.
- Communicate directly with port terminals for container releases and gate-ins.
- Real-time Tracking & Updates
- Track container movements from origin to destination in real-time.
- Input status updates and transit data into tracking systems.
- Report field exceptions, delays, or operational issues immediately to the Operations Supervisor.
- Coordination & Documentation
- Collect physical transport documents (EIR, proof of delivery, clean receipts) from carriers.
- Maintain regular contact with Customer Care to share transport execution status and container release updates.
- Transmit all collected operational documents to the billing team for administrative closure.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Preferably master’s degree in Logistics, Transport, Business Administration, or equivalent field experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in dispatching, transport execution, or port terminal gate operations.
- Highly reactive and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with field operators, drivers, and internal customer service.
- Proficient with basic office software and transport tracking tools.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (both written and spoken) is necessary for effective communication.
- Mastery of Hassanya is an asset for this position to ensure effective communication with local drivers and clients.
