Sales Management Manager Cambodia

THE ROLE

The Commercial Manager is responsible for managing and developing commercial activities in Cambodia, driving sustainable revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, expanding market share, and developing landside business opportunities in line with Country, Cluster, and Group objectives.

Internal: HO & Regional Office; Customer care, Finance/Accounting, Operations/Logs, Business development, Branches office, CEVA Logistics, CCIS, Branch Offices
External: Customers, Carriers, Terminal, Inland Transport & Logistics Partners


RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial & Team Management
- Lead, manage, and evaluate the performance of Sales and Marketing teams
- Set sales targets, development plans, and growth strategies, including new services
- Drive market share growth and ensure allocated volumes and commercial objectives are achieved
- Support commercial forecasting, budgeting, and business planning activities
- Contribute to cost management initiatives by working closely with Operations, Finance, and Management to improve commercial efficiency and profitability.

Account Management
- Maintain and further develop strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts
- Handle customer inquiries related to shipping services, logistics solutions, and value-added services
- Conduct regular customer visits and execute marketing and customer engagement initiatives
- Lead and support commercial negotiations and finalize trade agreements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer profiles and commercial data
- Gather customer feedback to enhance service quality and identify growth opportunities
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive intelligence

Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market intelligence
- Develop and execute sales plans for targeted customers
- Conduct visits and presentations to prospective customers
- Work closely with CEVA Logistics, CCIS, terminals, and inland partners to develop integrated logistics solutions

- Obtain required approvals from Head Office and POD for new accounts.

E-Commerce & Digital Solutions
- Review service quotations to support auto-freighting processes and digital booking processes
- Promote E-Commerce products and digital solutions to customers
- Ensure smooth processes and deliver premium service quality.

Market development:
Identify and propose new products, services, and commercial opportunities based on market insights and customer needs.

Country Performance, Efficiency & Governance
- Support cost control and efficiency initiatives across commercial and operational activities.
- Coordinate and monitor the Agency Scorecard, working with all functions to ensure performance targets are met
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve overall country KPIs, service quality, and customer experience
- Support the preparation of the Country Strategic Deck, including commercial strategy, market outlook, and growth initiatives

Others:
- Prepare and submit management and performance reports
- Participate in special projects as assigned
- Coach, train, and develop team members to build a strong and high-performing commercial team

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years’ working experience in a similar commercial or sales management role within the logistics or shipping industry, preferably in a multinational environment
- Strong understanding of the Cambodia market and logistics/shipping industry
- Ability to communicate effectively – both verbal and non-verbal
- People Management, holding team’s accountabilities, coaching skills
- Interpersonal skills, time planning, strategic thinking, change management
- Fluency in English, Khmer, other languages would be a plus
- Good computer skill & MS Office.
