YOUR ROLE

 

Ensure the efficient management of cargo transshipment operations and the operational follow-up of cargo connections, while strictly adhering to procedures, ensuring smooth execution of activities, and meeting customer and regulatory requirements.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Before Vessel Arrival:

  • Verify that the discharge quantities provided by the planner match the actual quantities in LARA;
  • Send second-leg nominations to the terminal (COPRAR Discharge);
  • Monitor COD (Change of Destination) cases;
  • Process the loading list and integrate partners’ loading lists into LISA;
  • Consolidate the vessel loading list (including export containers);
  • Monitor inter-vessel loadings;
  • Transmit the final loading list and all related documentation to the terminal, planner, and partners;
  • Follow up on HOLD requests and cut-off instructions if needed;
  • Submit customs declarations for containers scheduled for reloading.

 

After Vessel Departure:

  • Compare the terminal’s loading confirmation with the vessel’s final loading list;
  • In case of containers left behind, update the call and plan them for the next voyage;
  • Investigate root causes when containers are left behind;
  • Track damaged containers that were not loaded.

 

Other Tasks:

  • Coordinate inspection operations for transshipment containers.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Degree or diploma in logistics, transport, or maritime operations (minimum 2-year post-secondary education preferred);
  • A first experience in the maritime industry is a plus;
  • Familiarity with airport or air cargo processes is appreciated;
  • Solid knowledge of cargo operations and related regulations;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize;
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and autonomous;
  • Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
