As part of its growth and development, CMA CGM Holland is looking for an Inside Sales Reefers to join its Reefer team within the Commpercial pillar.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Inside Sales reefers develops and manages a customer portfolio in accordance with agency business plan management commercial strategy and sells products and services related to it, while promoting Group image and values. Your overall goal is to grow the business and improve the customer experience.
 
The key responsibilities of the inside sales are as such :

  • Overall result responsibility for a portfolio of reefer accounts.
  • Ensure that each reefer account has competitive valid rates at all times and that all agreed rates are filed correctly in AQUA / LARA / relevant systems. 
  • Act as an ambassador for non-controlled volume accounts that are assigned to your portfolio and provide short term and long term sales forecast for your portfolio.
  • Set sales targets for each customer (incl. concrete action plans how to achieve) and coordinate this with sales/trade management. 
  • Facilitate open communication and strong interaction with trade teams (HO/local) as well as with the reefer sales team and the entire organization.
  • Participate in establishing the commercial actions plan.
  • Plan and conduct phone calls mostly & commercial visits as per agency sales’ segmentation. Sell Group products and services and non-maritime products (such as ACT+, e-commerce, VAS, intermodal, CEVA) in compliance with the pricing policy.
  • Identify the commercial market reefer opportunities, develop market shares, and/or improve outcomes according to commercial strategy. 
  • Manage that valid and updated credit agreements are in place at all times for those reefer customers eligible for credit terms. 
  • Strive to the highest degree of invoice accuracy and ensure that outstanding invoices are paid within agreed timeframe.
  • Update commercial data and customer feedback in CRM (ex opportunities, lead, contacts). Reach your activity targets in SVPC (sales visits phone calls) and qualitative targets.
  • Increase loyalty of key customers by building strong customer relationships. 
  • Have not only a farming but also a hunting mentality and be able think outside the box and be creative in a constant changing market environment.
  • Relay pricing requests from unassigned customers to sales support reefers.

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory, French is a preference.
  • Good communication skills (oral & written)
  • Customer focused and result driven
  • Decision quality and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently, accurately and set priorities
  • Excellent CMA-CGM product knowledge
  • Strong negotiation skills, able to close deals and to not take no for an answer
  • A flexible commercial that is able to encounter all challenges and constant changes thriven by the market and geopolitical situation.
  • Stress-resistant and solution-oriented with clear eye of customers needs and desires
  • Knowledge of MS Office software, CRM software and relevant CMA-CGM systems
