Land Transport Planner, CMA CGM Latvia

Are you enthusiastic about transport planning and making a significant impact in the world of international shipping? We at CMA CGM Latvia are looking for you to strengthen our Team!

Your role

You will join our Riga-based team, which covers transportation planning and coordination for our CMA CGM teams in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective transportation of cargo, maintaining high service standards, and enhancing our overall logistical operations.

This is a full-time and fixed-term position for a parental leave substitution. We estimate the length of the fixed term to be about 1.5 years. Salary range for this role is 1650-1950 euros/month gross.

What are you going to do?

• Coordinating road transports with relevant stakeholders
• Communication with drivers
• Coordinating customer-related tasks with customer service
• Monitoring and reporting tasks, managing changes and reacting to unexpected situations when needed
• Covering colleagues during vacation periods
• Entering pricing data and monitoring price changes in the system
• Preparing weekly settlement reports with carriers across all three Baltic countries
• Reconciling weekly settlement reports with the responsible person in the accounting department
• Participating in various projects

Who are we looking for? 

Our ideal candidate for this role has:

• Relevant education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or another related field
• Previous experience in transportation planning, logistics, or a similar role within the shipping or logistics industry
• Fluent Latvian and English language skills. Our official company language is English, and day-to-day communication with team happens mostly in Latvian.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Excellent problem-solving skills, detail orientation with an eye for accuracy
• Fluency and interest in IT tools

• Autotransporta pārvadājumu plānošana un koordinēšana sadarbībā ar iesaistītajām   pusēm
• Ikdienas komunikācija ar autovadītājiem un pārvadātājiem
• Ar klientu pasūtījumiem saistīto procesu koordinēšana sadarbībā ar klientu apkalpošanas komandu
• Pārvadājumu izpildes uzraudzība, atskaišu sagatavošana, operatīva izmaiņu vadība un nestandarta situāciju risināšana
• Dalība iekšējos un starpnodaļu projektos
• Kolēģu aizvietošana atvaļinājumu un prombūtnes laikā
• Tarifu/cenu ievade sistēmā un cenu izmaiņu kontrole
• Iknedēļas norēķinu atskaišu sagatavošana un kontrole ar pārvadātājiem Baltijas valstīs
• Norēķinu atskaišu saskaņošana ar grāmatvedības nodaļu

• Augstākā vai profesionālā izglītība loģistikā, piegādes ķēdes vadībā vai citā saistītā jomā
• Iepriekšēja darba pieredze transporta plānošanā, loģistikā vai līdzvērtīgā amatā loģistikas vai kuģošanas nozarē
• Teicamas latviešu un angļu valodas zināšanas (uzņēmuma oficiālā darba valoda ir angļu, savukārt ikdienas saziņa komandā pārsvarā notiek latviešu valodā)
• Attīstītas komunikācijas un sadarbības prasmes efektīvai darbībai ar iekšējām struktūrvienībām un ārējiem sadarbības partneriem
