BI Specialist

MISSION: The Market & Business Intelligence Specialist must support improvement of organization’s competitive position by providing regular market analysis and developing/maintaining reports that support management in business decisions.
SCOPE OF RESPONSABILITIES:
Business Intelligence:
- Issue performance reports to the Regional Board and Head Office and support Key Departments on monthly performances to capitalize new biz opportunities and minimize the effects of competition;
- Develop BI dashboard on Qliksense tool;
- Provides input to business requirements for the design of solutions;
- Interprets business requirements and determine optimum BI solutions to meet need;
- Create specific databases and update for managerial purpose and monitor the regional performance and stated budget;
- Follow-up on weekly performance;
- Ensure that responsible decisions are made based on correct data projections;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities;
- Look for internal tools continuous improvement and automation;
Market Intelligence:
- Executive presentation support including slide consolidation, data gathering, and graphic design;
- Specific presentation supporting Brazil organization department through quarterly industry updates using external print media, social media, and other online sources requiring up to date maintenance;
- Drive the comprehensive understanding of market dynamics including customers, competitors, market trend, technology and other forces. This may also include macroeconomic conditions and regulatory issues;
- Monitor Macroeconomic figures, market share evolution, growth and trade segmentation with services analyzes with niche comparisons as well as competitors and market trends;
- Develop segment studies and collateral for commercial team in field;
- Share market relevant news internally ensuring our team is connect to latest information;
- Ensure that responsible decisions are made based on correct data projections;
- Monitor competitors behavior in charges, responsible for an accurate benchmarking on local fees charged, as well as sharing relevant information about their strategy news;
- Monitor agents’ performance on their administrative zones, local charges and clients’ evolution on loadings;
Expected Results: Contribute to the overall strategic direction and business plan of CMA CGM in the region in conjunction with the board of company and all the team.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Degree: Degree desired in Business Administration, Logistics, Comex and related
IT and System Requirements: Excellent level of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
Programming is a plus (especially Qliksense)
Language: English (fluent) / Spanish intermediate (desirable)
Experience: Minimum 3year experience working in the field. Business knowledge.
