Role Overview
In this role, you will issue and analyze the management data of designated entities (lines) to support business operations decisions for better control of cost structure and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate the management reports of all controllers on a monthly basis for Actual/ Flash/ Forecast.
- Responsible for the overall budgeting process; planning and coordinating of the different deadlines across the organization, follow up on the process and consolidating the final output. This candidate will also be heavily involved in the updating of the budget on a quarterly basis.
- Perform gap analysis between management, flash and forecast and alerting the management in case of deviation as well as making proposals to allow for correction.
- Act as a liaison between head office in Marseilles and the Singapore office. Making sure all rules and regulations enforced by Group Corporate Control are applied and adhered to.
- Prepare monthly reporting deck for management meeting.
- Liaise with transversal functions in the departments to understand the gaps between actual and estimated cost and to adjust the standard costs if necessary.
- Prepare any ad hoc reports as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Accountancy from a recognised university.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar function preferably from a maritime or financial environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially in Microsoft Excel).
- Experience in Microsoft Access and Power Pivot will be an added advantage.

- Ability to engage and build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation for effective communication.
- Ability to meet deadlines within tight time frames.
- Good organisational and analytical skills with a mature methodical approach to tasks.
- Demonstrate ability to solve problems and offer innovative solutions; not afraid of challenges and learning new things.
