Business Development Specialist, Asia - India Subcon

Summary

Supports Asia – India Subcon Trade in managing and overseeing all services under his/her purview through working with all parties across the organization.
He/she is responsible for generating/analyzing various trade reports, producing marketing flyers/customer advisories and managing allocations, trade routes or any other operational matters.

 
Responsibilities

• Generate trade reports (market capacity / demand / market share, service booklets, etc) and provide data analysis/market insights
• Monitor and track competitor activities in terms of services, service rotation and vessel deployment/blanks
• Produce marketing flyers, customer advisories for new services, service revamp or blank sailings, and any other marketing materials as needed
• Maintain line instructed routes with any new services/service revamp, and troubleshoot any routing enquiries
• Maintain vsl lineup, BSA tables, trade allocations and resolve cargo flow/operations matters
• Support annual budget exercise and any other adhoc presentations/studies as required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to details/numbers that enables incumbent to monitor multiple streams of information and provide analysis
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills for producing marketing materials and able to coordinate with various departments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Powerpoint, and in-depth understanding of Excel formulas and other data analysis tools
