Role Overview
In this role, you will support the design, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of the CMA CGM EDI framework and communication platform, leveraging IBM ITX and SBI technologies. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical, time-sensitive EDI applications that facilitate seamless data exchange with internal stakeholders and external business partners.
Key Responsibilities
EDI Platform Design & Implementation
- Design, implement, and enhance IBM ITX and SBI components to support new functionalities, system optimization, and performance improvements
- Enhance and maintain the SBI framework solution design and communication exchange protocols, including AS2, POP3/SMTP, SFTP, and FTP, to ensure platform stability, reliability, and performance
- Ensure proper documentation, testing, and quality assurance processes are followed for all EDI-related deliverables
Incident Management & Platform Reliability
- Monitor the performance, availability, and stability of the EDI framework and communication platform, and drive continuous improvement initiatives where required
- Lead the resolution of critical incidents by coordinating investigations, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions
- Provide ongoing support for mission-critical, time-sensitive EDI applications, and assist business users with EDI communication setup and onboarding activities with external partners
Technical Collaboration & Project Delivery
- Manage multiple medium- to complex-scale IT initiatives in collaboration with business stakeholders and internal IT teams
- Translate business EDI requirements into scalable and effective technical solutions
- Work effectively across cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and deliver successful outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Approximately 5 years of experience in the enhancement, administration, and maintenance of IBM ITX/SBI-based systems
- Strong technical knowledge of IBM ITX/SBI, including transmission protocols, system configuration, setup, and log analysis, with experience supporting the latest platform versions
- Hands-on expertise in EDI mapping and communication protocols
- Basic to intermediate Linux system administration skills, including scripting, command-line operations, and system maintenance
