Head of Corporate Desk, MEG/ISC/RS Line

Summary
Reporting to the Line Senior Manager, the Head of Corporate Desk is responsible for leading all commercial activities related to MEG/ISC/RS lines. As the incumbent, you will be driving the commercial development strategy (including tender, pricing, and cargo mix) for the MEG/ISC/RS Line to support Line Management and Group objectives.
This role requires strong interpersonal and leadership skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across diverse geographies and cultures.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute commercial strategies for the MEG/ISC/RS Line to drive market share growth and improve performance
• Build and manage relationships with key corporate customers and lead strategic engagements
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand market presence
• Lead account planning, sales coordination, and performance reviews
• Oversee pricing strategy, tender management, and contract negotiations in alignment with commercial goals
• Monitor customer performance and implement corrective actions to drive retention and growth
• Streamline internal commercial processes and support cross-functional coordination with Trade teams
• Conduct performance analyses and track KPIs
• Lead, develop, and support the Corporate Desk team, ensuring readiness through training, resource management, and clear KPIs
Requirements
• At least 8 years of experience in commercial or trade roles in the shipping liner or forwarder industry, with strong knowledge of MEG/ISC/RS markets
• Degree in Tertiary education or above, preferably in shipping, logistics management or business administration
• Skilled in influencing, negotiating, and resolving complex commercial issues across diverse cultures, and engaging with senior management
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
