IT Business Engagement Manager

Role Overview
This role serves as the senior strategic liaison between IT and key business divisions — including Customer Care, Operations, and Corporate Functions — ensuring technology strategy, architecture, and delivery align with business priorities and long-term growth goals. The position provides executive oversight in translating complex business challenges into technology-enabled solutions, driving efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage. It governs the IT investment portfolio, overseeing initiatives from ideation to implementation, and ensures alignment with enterprise architecture, compliance, and change management best practices to deliver measurable, sustainable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior strategic liaison and trusted advisor to business leaders across Customer Care, Operations, and Corporate Functions, ensuring technology strategies and initiatives are fully aligned with organizational objectives and business priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize IT initiatives that deliver measurable value, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic impact.
- Lead IT governance and portfolio management processes, ensuring all initiatives comply with enterprise architecture, data management, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards while optimizing investment outcomes.
- Translate complex business challenges into technology-enabled solutions that drive innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable competitive advantage.
- Provide executive oversight for the full lifecycle of IT programs—from ideation through delivery—ensuring effective planning, execution, risk management, and value realization.
- Advise senior leadership on emerging technologies, market trends, and industry best practices to inform strategic decision-making and future capability development.
- Promote standardization and scalability by championing the reuse and integration of global and regional technology solutions in alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- Foster collaboration, transparency, and accountability between IT and business divisions to ensure continuous improvement and measurable enhancement of business performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in an IT Business Partner, Strategic Liaison, or equivalent leadership role, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic interface between IT and business functions within large, complex organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in project and portfolio management, with a proven track record of leading multiple concurrent initiatives from concept to execution. Skilled in balancing scope, resources, and risk to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact technology programs that enable operational excellence and business growth.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies—including cloud computing, automation, analytics, and AI/ML—and their practical application to drive innovation, streamline operations, and create competitive advantage.
