Key Account Manager

Role Overview
As a Key Account Manager, you will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities while managing and expanding relationships with key clients. You’ll lead account negotiations, oversee commercial performance, and define pricing strategies aligned with Group policies.
This role also involves close collaboration with internal teams to ensure service excellence and the promotion of Value-Added Services (VAS) to enhance customer offerings.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new customers and markets to promote the company’s services, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing key clients.
  • Develop, lead, and manage key account negotiations to support global revenue targets and long-term business growth.
  • Monitor and manage the commercial performance of assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Define commercial and pricing policies in coordination with Line Management and in compliance with Group strategies and policies.
  • Prepare visit reports, conduct market studies, and complete additional tasks as assigned by Management.
  • Communicate commercial strategies and directives across the network, ensuring consistent and accurate implementation.
  • Drive customer relationship development and continuous improvement to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Cargo Flow, and other internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Promote and sell Value-Added Services (VAS) to enhance customer offerings and increase revenue.
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roles within the ocean freight industry; NVO experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (vLookup, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.
