Role Overview
In this role, you will work closely with your team to manage overall commercial activities and projects for CMA CGM. You will ensure that defined objectives and KPIs are achieved, with a focus on maximising revenue, liftings, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and participate in the annual tender and RFQ process for Global Account (GA) and Beneficial Cargo Owner (BCO) customers
- Understand GA and BCO customer requirements and coordinate with MEG, ISC, and RES teams to support trade strategies
- Review account performance data and liaise with Sales on outlooks and forecasts
- Support business and performance reviews with the KAM team and customers to drive cargo nominations
- Maintain and regularly update GA and BCO customer lists and Customer Space Allocation (CSA) with stakeholders to support cargo protection and priority setting
- Assist in handling space, rate, off-tender enquiries, and short-term quotations in collaboration with KAM teams
- Coordinate customer space allocation (CSA) and rate filings with trade teams in line with tender awards
- Prepare and analyse regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations for management and customer meetings
- Support in-house system and long-term pricing projects, including related pricing enquiries
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum Diploma holder, preferably in Shipping, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
- 1–2 years of relevant working experience in pricing functions within the shipping liner or freight forwarding industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Table functions
- Good communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
- Prior exposure to Middle East Gulf (MEG), Indian Subcontinent (ISC), or Red Sea (RS) trade lanes is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage operational challenges effectively and efficiently
