Value Added Services (VAS) Specialist

Role Overview
In this role, you will work closely with the VAS Manager to drive the development and growth of our Value-Added Services (VAS) portfolio across APAC. You will play a key role in maximizing revenue and profitability, activating the sales force, and enabling the regional network to boost VAS engagement and performance. To succeed, you should have strong communication skills and the ability to present and influence effectively across all levels, both internally and with clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of product strategy in the APAC region by assisting in identifying target segments, preparing pitch materials, coordinating product rollouts, and tracking progress toward annual targets.
  • Contribute to the launch and growth of targeted VAS products by helping define value propositions and supporting upselling efforts to drive adoption within key customer segments.
  • Collaborate with agencies to drive the sales delivery of the APAC VAS Budget, focusing on Supply Chain Agility, Cargo Care, Business Support, and Serenity.
  • Achieve APAC VAS budget targets through active sales contribution across all product families
  • Assist agencies in identifying and building VAS sales opportunities within the NOVA system.
  • Maintain and update the VAS opportunity pipeline in NOVA, and support follow-up on qualified leads across the region.
  • Conduct training to equip VAS Champions, sales, trade, and key stakeholders with the right knowledge and tools, driving stronger engagement, confidence, and self-sufficiency in promoting VAS solutions.
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular engagement to promote VAS products, driving awareness and adoption.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the shipping and/or logistics industry
  • Proven track record in leading sales initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
