As part of your studies, you are currently looking for an end-of-studies internship (final-year engineering student or Master's).
You will join the Delivery Ships & Inland Transport team, which develops and deploys technical, economic and operational solutions for the Group's maritime and inland transport projects.
You will support the project teams across the entire project lifecycle, from ideation with the engineering teams to implementation and performance monitoring. This internship will give you direct exposure to innovative ship delivery and inland transport projects, a complete view of a project from design to operation, and regular interactions with technical, financial and operational experts in France and abroad.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Technical & techno-economic studies: You will contribute to technical and techno-economic studies (solution analysis, scenario comparison, cost estimation and summary of results), and help build, consolidate and update the business plans associated with the projects.
- Project management & governance: You will structure simple project management processes, from ideation to execution (milestones, deliverables, governance, risks, actions and reporting), and support the preparation of decision-making materials, steering committees and project reviews.
- Performance analysis: You will carry out operational and financial performance analyses on projects in operation, notably on the e-barge model in Vietnam, and help create clear, pragmatic indicators, dashboards and tracking tools.
- Knowledge capitalization: You will capture lessons learned and formalize best practices so they can easily be reused by the Ships and Inland teams.
- Cross-functional coordination: You will coordinate information gathering from multidisciplinary teams: engineering, operations, finance, procurement, legal and local partners.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Education: Final-year engineering student or Master's 2, specializing in naval/maritime engineering, mechanical engineering, energy, transport, logistics, industrial engineering or project management.
- Technical skills:
- Ability to analyze technical and financial data and turn it into structured recommendations
- Good command of Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI is a plus
- Interests: Strong interest in technical projects, the energy transition and the maritime and river sectors.
- Languages: Very good level of French and English, both written and spoken.
- Personal qualities: Rigorous, autonomous, curious and well organized, with strong synthesis skills; at ease with people, you enjoy working in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
