YOUR ROLE

 

Our operation in Mendlesham has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking Warehouse Manager who will provide leadership, operational and customer service excellence meeting CEVA’s and client expectations.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the Account Manager, you will lead a team of two supervisors and an administrator where you will implement strategies to form a team that creates, sustains, and embeds a culture of employee engagement and high performance. You will maintain an excellent partnership with the client, driving operational activities to achieve daily performance goals whilst promoting and implementing a health and safety culture on site.

 

You will provide management control through effective planning, organization, and communication to ensure all KPI targets and customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest possible standards are achieved.

 

You will drive performance improvements through reviewing processes and reporting mechanisms and identify, evaluate, and implement continuous improvement projects in collaboration with internal teams ensuring all activities remain within quality and budgetary targets.

 

This is a Monday to Friday role 08:30-17:00.

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of leading warehousing teams with considerable experience, ideally within 3PL environment. You will be able to demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships, possess strong people management skills with the ability to coach and develop others and be a skilled decision maker, negotiator and influencer who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.

An understanding of cost models and budget tracking along with strong report writing and statistical investigative skills would be desirable.
