Summary
Reporting to the Senior Management, the Chief Commercial Officer (“CCO”) drives the development and execution of a commercialization strategy in line with the business plan for the Taiwan market. The CCO builds a commercialization infrastructure and organization to drive market adoption of the CMA-CGM’s products and be responsible for business, revenue, and market share growth. The CCO takes a global perspective on market opportunities and leads and prioritizes a commercial action plan, ensuring that all organization functions are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement export and import sales strategies to drive growth and profitability
• Build annual budgets and align commercial objectives with corporate goals
• Identify and prioritize global market opportunities
• Use data analytics to measure performance and inform strategic decisions
• Lead key commercial campaigns and initiatives
• Drive process improvements and operational excellence
• Build, develop, and manage a high-performing sales network
• Coach and mentor commercial managers and foster career development
• Build and strengthen relationships with senior-level customers
• Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and customers, resolving challenges and delivering value
• Collaborate with group entities to identify cross-selling opportunities and integrated commercial solutions
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
• Proven experience in a senior commercial role within the shipping or logistics industry.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software tools.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Ability to develop and implement commercial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• In-depth understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
