主な業務内容
- セールスチームが効果的なソリューションをお客様へ提案できるよう、各種データやガイド資料を整備・提供
- 営業パフォーマンス指標(KPI 等)のモニタリング
- 入札案件や顧客からの見積依頼に対する運賃見積りの作成(社内ポリシーと収益性を考慮)
- 営業活動管理ツールを利用した案件・活動状況のトラッキングおよびレポーティング
- 保留中の案件や顧客からの各種リクエストのフォローとカスタマーサービスの提供
- CMA CGMグループの各種サービスに加え、Eコマース、付加価値サービス、インターモーダル輸送、CEVA Logisticsとのクロスセル案件の提案サポート

Sales Support Specialist Japan
Join CMA CGM JAPAN K.K., a leading player in the shipping and commercial sector, as a Sales Support Specialist within our dynamic Sales Network division. This role is essential to our Local Sales department, providing vital support to our sales team and ensuring excellent customer experience in the Japanese market.
Your Role
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be the linchpin in processing sales professionally while maintaining a strong customer-focused outlook. Your role is designed to meet clients' needs promptly and accurately, fostering satisfaction and long-term partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, maintaining and updating databases of sales orders, and creating targeted lists for new prospects and existing customers. Your input will streamline sales operations and contribute directly to the team’s overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate data and comprehensive guides to assist the sales team in delivering effective solutions to our clients.
- Develop and monitor sales performance metrics, delivering actionable insights to optimize practices.
- Prepare detailed rate quotations for tenders and customer inquiries, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with company policies.
- Manage sales tracking tools efficiently, offering precise reports on sales activities and critical information to management.
- Review pending orders and customer requests attentively to guarantee an outstanding customer service and seamless customer experience.
- Support Sales Representatives in promoting CMA CGM group services alongside our Non-Maritime products, including e-commerce solutions, value-added services, intermodal transport, and CEVA cross-selling initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth sales processes and align customer expectations with service delivery.
- Maintain excellent records and documentation of sales activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
What We Are Looking For
Must Have:
- Fluency in spoken and written Japanese, coupled with strong English communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent multitasking skills to manage various sales operations simultaneously.
- Thorough understanding of sales principles and best practices in customer service to support and enhance client interactions.
- Demonstrated teamwork and motivational skills to contribute positively to the sales environment and foster collaboration.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel, enabling efficient data handling and reporting.
- Professional writing ability for crafting detailed customer advisory communications in both Japanese and English.
- Exceptional accuracy in data management, ensuring reliability of sales information and operational consistency.
