YOUR ROLE

In the role of Project Manager, you will ensure the successful running and completion of projects for our client Vodafone. Once a week you will have a meeting with the customer, usually in a call, to discuss their wishes and needs in order to update and advise them in possibilities and feasibility of their wishes. During the implementation of new solutions or improvements you will of course ensure that you work within the agreed conditions such as time, budget and customer requirements. Within the existing projects you know where opportunities lie for further expansion or new projects within the cooperation.

 

You have a lot of contact with the various internal stakeholders: Account Support employees, the logistics operation, Finance colleagues and IT colleagues in the Netherlands and abroad.

Once a week there is a meeting with the entire team of internal colleagues involved in these projects. In your role, you will also ensure proper prioritization and reporting. This includes the (new) agreements with the customer, the work performed and thus also the accounting for hours. You work accurately and provide Finance with input for invoicing the client.

 

The day starts with a cup of coffee/tea, booting up your laptop and then a daily stand-up with Account Support, Project Management and IT. Here we briefly discuss the ongoing issues, what needs to be paid attention to, what the planning is and what the priorities are for the day. Then you can start working on your current projects yourself. Your technical eye and affinity with IT will come in handy here as many projects involve the various systems.

 

The team consists of 4 Project Managers, each with their own responsibilities. You take on the projects together. This means that you also support each other in projects and do not always have your individual project. This gives you the opportunity to learn from each other, make a positive contribution in other projects and broaden your knowledge. The working language at the office is Dutch, but within the projects and with the client you mainly speak and write English.

You will report to the Manager projects. You will work flexible from one of our locations in Waalwijk and home.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and coordinate projects and ensure successful completion;
  • Ensuring that all agreements made are adhered to and properly recorded;
  • Creating the Statement of Work (SOW) and its financial follow-up;
  • Providing progress reports;
  • Participate and support in other projects and proactively improve cooperation with the client(s).

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • A completed college or university education in the direction of Supply Chain, (Technical) Business Administration or similar;
  • At least 2 years of work experience within the Logistics and/or Telecommunications industry;
  • You have an affinity with IT, systems and telecom;
  • You are solution-oriented, analytical, ad-rem and customer-oriented;
  • You have a good command of the English language both verbally and in writing; Dutch is an advantage;
  • You are available 40 hours a week on office days.
