Container Fleet Maintenance and Repair Specialist
YOUR ROLE:
More than 90% of world trade is carried by sea. Every day, we transport huge quantities of goods on more than 200 shipping routes.
At the center of the shipping line, the Equipment Officer ensures to provide the containers of CMA CGM Criteria to our customers.

Reporting to the Container Repair Manager, your main goal will be to support to maintain proper level of container quality and give the proper repair instruction to the depot/repair company/terminal.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As a Container Repair Officer, your commitments are:

Support to keep the quality of containers under CMA CGM criteria level.

Trouble shooting at the gates/depots. Decision making of acceptance damaged containers at the gate in case being held by the terminal/depot. (Recovery of the repair fee from the customer).

Support to manage and control the container repair and maintenance cost.

Feedback various inquiries about the container condition from the commercial teams.

Conduct physical audit for depots/terminals for maintaining the safety level of repair works, quality of the repairs, and the time spend for the repairs at depots/terminals.

Investigate the container condition with the origin and the destination countries in case of container damage occurred.

Giving the proper instruction of container repair process to the depots/terminals/repair companies.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Must have:
-
Good communication and skills in English (both writing and speaking).
-
Good command of IT tools, especially Excel.
-
Good interpersonal skills, sense of anticipation, responsiveness, curiosity and analytical skills will enable you to succeed in your daily tasks.

Need to have management and negotiation skill to lead/guide the repair companies, depots, and terminals as well as to manage cost within budget/target.
Nice to have:
-
Postgraduate degree in International Trade, Transport or Logistics, and/or engineering school, and/or a specialization in econometrics.

Ideally a professional experience in operation or logistics sector.
