YOUR ROLE

Our GHO transformation team has a unique opportunity for a Contract Logistics Tranformation Intern to join the team for a 1-year internship. This role will give exposure to all areas of the business, both functional and operational. 

In this role you directly support the Global Contract Logistics team to deliver business change and transformation programs where you will on digital communication, organizational and people skills. For this role you can be located anywhere in United Kingdom but will need to travel to our Head Office in Ashby de la Zouch office, at least once a week. This is a Monday - Friday position, 40 hours per week.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the GHO Head of Transformation for Contract Logistics you will contribute to the creation, delivery, monitoring and communication of strategic plans.

This is a fast-paced and creative role supporting the GHO Contract Logistics team creating videos and designing online materials. It is therefore important that you have some demonstrable experience of video editing, photo editing and design. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premier Pro and Photoshop) and/or other design tools such as Canva, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Clip Champ.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creation of digital material such as videos, presentations and documents in support of the GHO Contract Logistics team
• Liaise with stakeholders at various levels to obtain information needed to inform content from across the globe.
• Maintain CL GHO Strategy documentation such as schedules, trackers and other program documentation
• Support live events by setting up and administrating online and in person events with the GHO Contract Logistics leadership team
• Work with teams across the globe to track their progress on execution of strategic plans.

This role will communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple business areas and levels of seniority. You will need to be able to create and maintain relationships with colleagues across the globe. You will also be required to travel internationally, therefore flexibility is essential.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

To be successful in this role the below skills are relevant:

• Strong command of digital communications such as video editing, photo editing, graphic design, social media and written communications is essential.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and time management is essential.
• Ability to use Microsoft (MS) Office, MS Teams, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop Premier Pro, Canva, MS Clip Champ and social media platforms is essential.
• Knowledge of supply chain and logistics is desirable but not essential is desirable.
• Knowledge of Coding Languages such as SQL, Python, Java Script, Java, Power BI and MS Excel Query is desirable but not essential is desirable.
