Pay Range: $26.00-$28.00

 

YOUR ROLE

Responsible for providing administrative support and coordination for HR and employment related activities at a contract location.  Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Support the recruitment and staffing functions in a station facility and provide core customer service and administrative support to clients and employees regarding general human resources, benefits, employment and payroll questions.
  • Coordinate and schedule employment interviews for exempt and non-exempt candidates.
  • Process and track job requisitions including entering requisitions into the recruiting system and tracking candidates.
  • Facilitate job offers and coordinate the distribution of new hire packages.
  • Initiate job orders and schedule candidates to fill "temporary" job vacancies.
  • Serves as the primary contact with employment agencies to establish, facilitate and manage the vendor relationship to ensure quality candidates and timely service.
  • Review, verify and process all new hire paperwork for accuracy and completeness, including coordinating and verifying benefits enrollment information with candidates.
  • Assist with "on-boarding" new hires.
  • Prepare and process termination paperwork.
  • Coordinate the processing of time cards and enter hours into the payroll system.
  • Assist in the administration and processing of worker's comp claims.
  • Maintain EEO logs and facilitate timely processing of related reports.
  • Track turnover and prepare reports for distribution to managers.
  • Respond to phone inquiries, emails and correspondence and assist contract management with various projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex procedures or regulations and write correspondence and procedural documents. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide using units of U.S. currency, weight, volume, and distance measurements.
  • PC literate. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific related software applications. Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.
  • Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors.
  • Proven track record of superior customer service and interpersonal skills. Extremely high level of attention to detail. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop alternative solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining calm and working effectively under pressure. Ability to manage complex or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally meeting commitments for service and assistance.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

 

Minimum:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Minimum three years related experience in Human Resources, Benefits or Payroll administration.

 

Preferred:

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
