We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Professional to join our Flow and Performance Monitoring department within the Air and Ocean Transverse division at CEVA A&O Mexico. This role is based in Mexico City, Alcaldía Benito Juárez, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics services and to build strong relationships with customers.
As a Customer Service Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring satisfaction through timely and effective communication and support. Your responsibilities will include diligent monitoring and follow-up of shipments, thorough review and verification of net and selling rates, and ensuring accurate billing instructions are communicated and adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for shipment inquiries and support.
- Ensure punctual and accurate tracking of shipments to maintain delivery schedules and proactively address any logistical challenges.
- Review, analyze, and validate net and sales tariff rates to guarantee accuracy and transparency in quotations and invoicing.
- Coordinate billing instructions meticulously, working closely with finance and operational teams to ensure correctness in documentation and invoicing processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the Air and Ocean Transverse division to support continuous improvement initiatives and enhance customer experience.
- Maintain detailed records and reports that provide insights into shipment status, customer feedback, and service performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in customer service within the logistics, air, or ocean freight industry is highly valued.
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with diverse internal teams and clients.
- Good analytical skills to verify rates and billing details attentively and suggest improvements when needed.
- Proficiency in digital tools, such as MS Office and logistics management software, to handle tracking, reporting, and correspondence.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that values innovation, inclusivity, and continuous learning.
