Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate logistics activities related to ground transportation, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to operational KPIs such as OTIF (On Time In Full), ASN (Advance Shipping Notice), and cross-docking procedures.
- Lead the execution of transportation schedules, optimizing routes, and resource allocation to meet customer and business requirements.
- Utilize and maintain retailer platforms such as Retail Link and Vendor Central to monitor orders, shipments, and inventory status, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information flow.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to negotiate service terms, resolve operational conflicts, and foster strong working relationships.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills and ERP/WMS systems to analyze logistics data, generate reports, and implement improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain performance.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by adapting to changes in processes and systems, implementing best practices, and supporting system upgrades and training efforts.
- Provide leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of proactivity, accountability, and results-oriented execution.
- Apply effective communication and negotiation skills when dealing with retailers and clients, ensuring clarity, transparency, and mutual satisfaction in all engagements.
- Resolve operational challenges promptly under pressure, maintaining a solution-focused approach to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in logistics, retail operations, or appointment coordination, demonstrating a solid understanding of supply chain and retail processes.
- Hands-on experience with retailer platforms and systems management.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English is desirable, especially for handling international accounts.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Technical skills: Proficiency in retailer platforms such as Retail Link and Vendor Central; comprehensive knowledge of logistics and retail processes including OTIF, ASN, cross-docking, and distribution; advanced Excel capabilities; experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Soft skills: Strong leadership capabilities in managing multidisciplinary teams; effective negotiation skills with retailers and clients; clear and persuasive communication; excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform well under pressure; high adaptability to changing process environments; exceptional organizational skills with a focus on meeting and exceeding KPIs.
