Logistics Engineer

CEVA FM Mexico is seeking a motivated and skilled Logistics Engineer to join our Solution Design department within the Core Transversal Functions division. This role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a global logistics leader by designing and optimising operational solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness in supply chain and logistics processes.

About the Role

As a Logistics Engineer, you will play a key role in analysing, designing, and implementing logistics systems and workflows that support our clients’ and company’s business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that align with strategic objectives and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse current logistics processes and identify opportunities for enhancement through engineering principles and technology.
• Design and develop innovative logistics solutions including material flow, warehouse layout, transportation, and inventory management systems.
• Work closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to understand requirements and deliver customised solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments to support decision-making and project planning.
• Facilitate the implementation of logistics projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring performance metrics and recommending corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation including process maps, technical specifications, and reports.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to introduce innovative solutions.

Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background with specific experience in logistics or supply chain environments. The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.

• Degree in Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience designing logistics frameworks or process optimisation projects.
• Proficient in simulation tools, logistics software, and data analysis.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred given the location.
